What research shows Little evidence of an effect on cellulite⁴. In one small study, the improvement lasted under 2 weeks⁵ In a study of clinic suction treatment, cellulite appearance improved in 15% of women⁶ Not among the approaches a 2024 systematic review rated most promising for cellulite³ RF rated among the more promising approaches³. In Sensifirm™’s own study of 33 women, 93% improved after 8 weeks, rising to 99% 3 months after treatment¹

Cellulite

Cellulite is hard to treat, and nothing removes it permanently. A 2024 systematic review rated radiofrequency among the more promising approaches, with evidence of moderate quality.³ An earlier review found no treatment with clear evidence of strong results.⁴

Home vs clinic

Home devices use lower energy than clinic systems, so results build with consistent use over weeks.² That’s why the Sensifirm™ protocol is 8 weekly sessions, repeated as needed.

Consider a clinic first

Clinic treatments use higher energy. Sensifirm™ isn’t designed for this.

Simple to start, safe by design

  1. Patch test

When it arrives, do a 3-minute test on each area, 48 hours before your first full session, to find the energy level that suits you.

  2. Once a week, for 8 weeks

20 minutes per area. Expect gentle warmth and a little pink colour on the skin that fades soon after. Always use Base Gel.

  3. Afterwards

Use SPF 30 or higher on treated skin, and skip very hot water and harsh products for 2 days.

  4. Keep results going

In the study, results were still improving 3 months after the last session. Repeat the 8-week protocol whenever you like.

Questions

Does it hurt?

It should feel like gentle warmth and a soft vibration. Temperature sensors switch RF off if skin gets too warm. No side effects were reported in the clinical study; the instructions for use list rare ones such as redness, irritation and mild burns.

How much time does it take each week?

20 minutes per treatment area, once a week. If you treat 3 areas, that’s about an hour a week for 8 weeks.

Will Sensifirm™ get rid of cellulite permanently?

No, and be wary of any device that claims it can. Cellulite is structural, so results are an improvement in its appearance that you maintain with continued use.

Is radiofrequency better than cellulite creams, vacuum devices or cavitation?

No study has compared them head to head, so we won’t claim that. A 2024 systematic review rated radiofrequency among the more promising approaches for cellulite, and Sensifirm™ has its own clinical results, graded by specialists.

How do I keep my results?

Repeat the 8-week protocol whenever you like to keep results going.

Can I use Sensifirm™ on my face?

No. Sensifirm™ is designed and tested for the body: buttocks, thighs, abdomen, waist and arms. For the face, Sensica™ makes Sensilift.

Is Sensifirm™ suitable for men?

No. Sensifirm™ is intended for women, and the clinical study included women only.
